Ode to Oregon
When I was 14 I read an article on Bend, Oregon and pronounced then and there that I would live there one day. I may have made this proclamation a few times in my life about various cities across the world that I hear about and become obsessed with. Bend came up again recently and I have been talking about it incessantly. When Bret and I realized we had Labor day off and it was our anniversary, it only made sense to drive 9 1/2 hours up to central Oregon to check it out. It was everything my 14 year old mind could have imagined. We also swung by Crater Lake National Park and Mt. Shasta on the way up. Here is an overload of pictures:
