We eat pizza.

I am a pizza connoisseur. Actually, we are pizza connoisseurs but I am trying to decrease the amount of times I use the pronoun "We" as I find myself saying things like, "We hate Nicholas Cage" or "We love caramel on everything" when these things come up in conversation and Bret isn't even around. But for the sake that this blog is a combination of Bret and I, I have given myself permission to use "we" whenever applicable.

Whew, now that that is out of the way, back to the original topic, PIZZA. Neither of us can claim something as our "absolute favorite" very easily. Neither of us have ever had a favorite color, animal, hobby, anything. But I can say with assurance, PIZZA is it. The top dog, numero uno, we can't get enough.

As we have traveled around California and other places, we have pretty much found all the best donuts in every city and we are now onto Pizza. And so I reach out to you, dear readers from around the globe, where is your favorite place to get Pizza? What do you get on it? I am serious in my request to know your favorites as I will most likely try them all, regardless of where they are. Greece, South Dakota, or Orem, I am a respecter of all places.

As far as our favorites. In the central valley, no doubt- Me N Eds. In San Francisco- DeJa Vu.... you may say what? why not delfina.... mainly because we're cheap and we like cheap pizza. Here is a pic of some of us Bakers and Rozier-Bakers at DeJa Vu

Please feel free to give any recommendations cheap or expensive or in an insanely remote place. And if I don't know you, what better way is there to bond than over pizza?

I was looking through old pictures when I came across this one... the morning I got ready for this hike I must have been thinking, "What is the most unattractive article of clothing I can put on my body".

Recently Lindsay showed me this picture of Jana and her fiance. I thought it was adorable and they both look amazing. Jana looks like a petite rag-doll and Billy looks very muscular. I then day dreamed about taking a similar picture of bret and I. Bret would be throwing my small frame in the air as I giggled and he flexed his muscles. Somehow in my day dream I forgot the fact that Bret and I are about the same size...

Double Feature Fish Eye Friday

This is Bret and I in front of a Taqueria somewhere in between Half Moon Bay and SF. This also reminds me of a pointless story that happened last night...

Bret and I were eating dinner about an hour after he got home from work when he jumped up and said, "Oh I brought you a surprise from work". I was very excited about this. He runs to his backpack and pulls out an oval shaped surprise wrapped in foil. It was half of a burrito. Apparently he went out to eat with co-workers and only ate half of his burrito, he then proceeded to wrap it in foil and put it in his backpack where it sat for the afternoon and evening waiting for me.

I've decided burritos are more appetizing when not taken from the bottom of a backpack. But don't worry, I didn't let that little sucker go to waste, I ate it for breakfast. thanks bret.

I'd like to make a special shout out to John Muir. Way to go. We really like what you did with Yosemite.

Bret: "Do you keep important papers in the back seat of the car?"
Whitney: "Yeah, sometimes, why?"
Bret: "Oh, well, I was driving on the freeway yesterday with all of the windows down and some papers flew out the back window".

Apparently I am married to the one person who drives on the freeway with all the windows down.
