Bret got home at midnight on Friday from being in Pittsburgh all week. We decided to have a San Francisco extravaganza to celebrate his triumphant return. The extravaganza included a couple of things like Mexican wrestling masks and dynamo donuts (which are NOT good, do not be deceived by their fancy logo or their high rating on the internet, they have flavors like "pistachio lemon", "spicy chocolate", and "orange vanilla glaze" all of which sounded interesting to us, however they were a disappointment and we will stick to our Lee's for high quality donuts). We also walked through neighborhoods I had never been to, ate Mexican food after our disappointing donuts- please note the pic of Bret wrapping up our leftover donut in the Mexican restaurant because we of course couldnt throw it away, so I saved it in my purse, which reminds me, it's still in there.
We both also wore our horse attire, me in a horse dress, bret in a horse sweatshirt. I don't even know how we both have horse print clothing, but we should probably acquire more if we want to get weird. Actually the horse sweatshirt is a hand-me-down from Hudd, thank you hudd, that sweatshirt has brought joy into both of our lives.

Whitney it looks like you learned a few moves from that yoga class.
Hey, awesome BB&B story. And yes, I recognize you! Love your blog.
So weird--that picture of Bret standing in the street of SF looks like it was taken in a 3rd world country. Then again, I suppose certain parts of SF aren't too far off...
It took me a minute to pick you and B out of the lineup with the mexican masks...sounds like a great day. is Bret rooting for the Steelers this Sunday??
