Home Sweet Home

Bret and I talk about living in a barn on a nightly basis. Turns out we're not the only ones.

Fish Eye Friday

We should probably start calling this "Periodic Fish Eye Friday".

Daycation

This is Bret and I in Rome

Okay, so maybe we were actually in Palo Alto but it felt just as magical.

In case you're interested in the minutia of my life...

I now have a baby pony tail

Also, you should probably go see "UP" right now and cry your guts out because it is so beautiful (or maybe that was just me?).

May was good

I love when you're in Utah just strolling around in the mountains on a little hike and you turn a corner and it looks like this...

I also love when your best friend gets married and chooses a great bridesmaid dress, I may have already worn it 3 times since.

Oh and how could I forget my love for Pie Shakes! Yes, a piece of pie blended with ice cream and magic to form a beautiful frozen treat...

Mem Day

Bret and I got a video camera. Hopefully there will be frequent videos (but don't count on it, I'm kind of flakey).

Olympic Trampoline Trials from Bret Baker on Vimeo.

This makes me really happy.

This is me in May

This is Kat and I when she came to visit, I'm not sure what I'm saying, but it looks like we're mad at each other, which makes me laugh

This is Molly and I, I'm saying, "Boo ya Bret"

This is Kirk and Alex on their wedding day, they're probably thinking "I wish we didn't have to take so many pictures".

Here are Brandon, Kat, and Bret. I don't remember what they're saying, but it looks like it was funny.

This is Bret and I in Golden Gate park saying "Oh, we're so indie"

ohhhkland

I do an unfair amount of bagging on Oakland. I actually do like it, some days, love it. I'm pretty easy to please as far as cities go, as long as it's not too cold or not in Nevada. But even then I'll make exceptions. I guess you could say I love the whole world.

Here we are on a day in Oakland, enjoying Bakesell Bettys. You all should go there, it smells like heaven and they gave me the largest piece of banana bread for free. i love free. This is the line outside...

These are the tables...

This is a very strangely located chocolate shop that was sadly closed when we were there:

Oh ya know, just your normal creative recycling store? The inside was as magical as the title suggests:

Fish Eye Friday pt. 2

This is me thinking, "Look at me! I'm baking with wheat germ, I'm incredible."

I won't show you a picture of how the home made granola bars turned out, but I'm not thinking I'm so incredible anymore.
